June 2025 registration data from Tamil Nadu's TNREGINET portal shows 14% YoY volume growth and 9% average price increase for residential plots in the Chennai metro region.

June 2025 Registration Data Summary

Tamil Nadu's TNREGINET system recorded 4,218 residential property registrations in the Chennai metro region in June 2025 — up 14% year-over-year and up 8% from May 2025. This is the highest monthly registration count since the post-COVID peak of March 2022.

**Category breakdown:** Apartments: 52% of registrations. Residential plots (DTCP/CMDA): 34%. Villas/independent houses: 14%.

    North Chennai's 8% YoY registered price increase is the largest jump this corridor has seen since 2021.
